How Our LEGO® Buying Process Works
Bring your LEGO® sets, minifigures, retired sets, and bulk LEGO® pieces to the Sell & Trade counter at Bricks & Minifigs Schaumburg. Our team reviews everything in store based on condition, completeness, demand, and quantity before making an offer.
All buying evaluations are completed in store only. We are unable to provide quotes through email, social media, text messages, photos, set numbers, or over the phone.
Please do not call the store for buying estimates. Final offers can only be made after our team reviews the items in person.
Must be 18 years or older: Anyone selling or trading LEGO® sets, minifigures, or bulk LEGO® pieces must be at least 18 years old and present a valid photo ID.
Retired New-in-Box LEGO® Sets
We purchase retired new-in-box LEGO® sets only.
If a set is currently available on LEGO.com, including items that are temporarily out of stock, we do not purchase it as new in box.
Loose Bulk LEGO® Pieces
For loose bulk LEGO® pieces, we offer store credit only.
We only accept genuine LEGO® brand pieces. Please do not include Mega Bloks, off-brand bricks, toys, trash, or non-LEGO® items.
Used LEGO® Sets
Used LEGO® sets should be brought to our trade counter and set up or organized by the customer so we can review condition and completeness.
Sets that include the correct minifigures usually receive the best offers.
Manuals are helpful, but not required. Boxes are welcome, but they do not automatically increase the value.
LEGO® Minifigures
LEGO® minifigures should be complete with the correct head, face, torso, legs, and accessories whenever possible.
Minifigures with cracks, bite marks, heavy wear, mismatched parts, or missing pieces may receive a lower offer or may be declined.
Large collections: If you have a large quantity of used LEGO® sets or minifigures to sell or trade, please call ahead to schedule an appointment.
Monday through Friday is usually the easiest time for larger evaluations, but our Buy, Sell & Trade desk is open every day.
