In October of 2024 owner, Cortney Frazon left her desk job to open a toy store. After much research, she found a franchise that spoke to her heart and immediately felt at home with their mission; To build each customer’s dreams brick by brick.

During the pandemic in 2020, Cortney and her husband Ryan spent many days at home building LEGO set after LEGO set. They wondered if they could resell their collections and share them with others. When Cortney heard about Bricks & Minifigs, she thought everything just clicked and “it felt right”.

In late September the doors to Bricks and Minifigs Lee’s Summit officially opened. With the sign installation and a grand opening in November, the Lee’s Summit community was notified of the new store. During the grand opening, customers enjoyed the event with a scavenger hunt inside the shop and selfie pictures with a giant inflateble minifig outside. It was a great success!  

Every employee has their own LEGO loves. Dakota loves Botannical; Kiersten is a Modual fan, Sarah and Cortney are Harry Potter lovers; Brian is into Star Wars sets; Cindy loves to see the joy LEGO brings to customers.
