Now that we have a couple of weeks under our belt in handling trade ins while the store is open, we are offering some options and recommendations to improve the experience for you.

If you are coming from outside the local area email us at Jacksonville.NC@bricksandminifigs.com to set up an appointment. The available times will be either before or right at store opening or after/right at store closure. This will ensure that if you drive all that way you can be assured of being seen quickly. This service is for those coming from outside Jacksonville.

If you have a large collection we also recommend making an appointment especially if you prefer cash instead of store credit as we only have a finite amount of cash on hand each day for buy backs.

Walk-ins are always welcome. We recommend coming in first without your collection to see if there is a wait. If there are more than 2 people in front of you we will take down your number and text you when you are on deck so you don’t have to remain in the store.

If you want to know how long the line is you can always call in advance. We just can’t guarantee things won`t change by time you get here.

Hi Everyone,

Mid day yesterday the system that tracks store credit earned from trade ins stopped talking to our registers. Because of this we are unable to accept store credit until this matter is resolved which. Due to the long weekend, likely won`t be until Tuesday at the earliest as we need corporate support to resolve this issue.

If you had store credit it has not been affected. It is still there and linked to your account.

Generally we do not hold items for customers however in this case, if you have store credit that cants be access we will hold items for you until your credit score comes available.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and will work with corporate to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible. ...

Now that the dust has settled I want to convey a heartfelt thank you to the Jacksonville community for the tremendous support we have been shown since opening our doors.

One of the reasons I choose to open up a Bricks and Minifigs was due to how amazing the Lego community is and you all did not disappoint. I have had so many positive interactions with many of you, it has been amazing. Thank you!!!!!

Moving forward we are going to work on getting into a good rhythm for our day to day operations. Starting in June we will begin rolling our event and activity plan and we have some big ideas we are excited for.
