As the local owners of Bricks & Minifigs Falls Church, Lara and I have closely followed – and fielded many questions about – the situation involving our franchisor (BAM Franchising Inc.) and a former franchisee in Oregon.

In short, it’s safe to say that we’re disappointed by how this situation has unfolded, and we understand why many in the LEGO® community are upset and looking for answers.

While, as franchisees, we’re not directly involved in the handling of this matter, please trust that we’ve made our concerns heard in the internal channels available to us. Like many of you, we want to see this situation resolved as fairly and quickly as possible.

To our incredible customers who have supported us over the last 18 months: thank you. You’ve helped make our vision of a warm and welcoming place to connect over the joy of LEGO a reality here in Falls Church.

We’d also like to thank everyone who has taken the time to check in on us recently. It’s been disheartening to deal with all of the angry comments, phone calls, and fake reviews – but these opportunities to speak with you, our local customers, neighbors, and friends, have been a valuable reminder of why we love doing what we do.
