David Ortiz was a stay-at-home dad who dreamed of a new retail location centered around LEGO® items but didn’t have the know-how to make it a reality. John Masek was an experienced retail guru who also maintained a healthy LEGO® interest and saw nothing but possibilities when he heard David’s ideas.
The two decided to work together and combine their skills. Bricks & Minifigs was the result, and their dream and hard work have only grown since they opened their first store. Now there are franchise locations throughout the United States and Canada. David’s dream has been realized in ways he never could have imagined.
