Welcome to “Tournament of Fate”

In a fantasy kingdom on the brink of a new regime, two siblings stand in each others’ way on their quest to their father’s throne. The princess, Seraphina, has been chosen as the new ruler in her father’s place, but her brother, Asher, has no intention of making it easy. To help the transition of power, Seraphina decides to hold a tournament and involve the common people.

This is where you come in! Against this backdrop, you have the chance to help Seraphina or side with Asher (we see you chaotic players). Like many other tabletop RPG games, the “Tournament of Fate” lets you create your own fantastical adventure alongside friends and other LEGO fans.

Featuring a comprehensive guidebook for the Game Master (GM), there’s a full story for you and your friends. But unlike other tabletop games, your figurines are minifigs, and the board is a custom BAM® baseplate. It’s a great way to build your own adventure!

How to Play

For those new to tabletop RPGs, “Tournament of Fate” is an open-ended adventure powered by creativity and imagination. Only this time, that creativity is built with LEGO elements! One player takes on the role of the GM where they guide the story, set the scenes, and portray non-playable characters (NPCs).

Each player controls a character represented by LEGO builds and minifigs. When players want to take an action, they simply describe what their character is attempting to do. Shoot a bow in the archery contest, participate in the highly anticipated joust, or consult a mysterious fortune teller for help. Whatever your character does is up to you and your imagination.

To determine the outcome, players roll a 20-sided die (d20). The GM uses the roll, along with the situation, to decide whether the action succeeds, fails, or leads to an unexpected twist. High rolls favor success, while lower rolls may introduce challenges, surprises, or new story opportunities.

There’s no single “right” way to play. “Tournament of Fate” encourages collaboration, creativity, and storytelling. The adventure evolves based on player choices, dice rolls, and the imaginative LEGO world you build together.
