Meet Scott Saxton
Scott Saxton’s path to Bricks & Minifigs Wilmington started with a trip to his bonus room closet. Determined to do some spring cleaning by selling some unopened, but valuable retired LEGO sets, Scott discovered the burgeoning franchise, Bricks & Minifigs, with more than 200 stores across the country, Canada and Australia, with plans for Fayetteville, Jacksonville and Myrtle Beach. No Wilmington? Well, that makes about as much sense as ripping the arms out of your minifigs. Seriously, why do you do that?
Scott has worked in real estate and television production in Wilmington. Prior to moving to the Port City nearly two decades ago, Scott lived and worked in Mississippi, West Virginia and Ohio.

BAM™ Family History
Bricks & Minifigs (BAM™) began in 2003 when David Ortiz set out to create a place where people could buy, sell, and trade LEGO® items while still having time for family.
In 2009, he met John Masek—an experienced retail leader—as they both pursued the same large LEGO® collection. Their combined passion and skills sparked a business venture that would grow into a thriving franchise.
BAM™ began franchising in 2011. By 2018, more than 41 stores were in operation, and today there are over 170 franchises across the US and Canada. (Now well over 200 to my knowledge)
