Let’s build something together – a community!
On January 29th, Elmo (yes, from Sesame Street) asked via X “How is everybody doing?” and millions of responses later it was clear that many people are not doing well. A lot of folks from young adults on up feel a strong sense of isolation and loneliness.
Every Thursday in February from 6:00 to 8:00 will be a Build Together night. The store will stay open late for people 16 and over to meet and build in our party room. Make some MOCs, build something silly, make and race some cars, or just hang out and chat with other Lego fans. No cost and you don’t take anything home. Bring your own food and (non-alcoholic) drinks if you want. Bring your friends and make new ones. BAM Warwick provides the bricks, the staff and the space. Nothing fancy, nothing formal.
We are keeping this at 16+ because we want this to be a place for young adults and older to connect with one another.
