at Bricks & Minifigs South Jordan
One of our goals at Bricks & Minifigs is to provide customers with ample opportunities to learn and grow through LEGO® play! We know that LEGO® provides unique experiences to explore, develop, and practice essential skills such as creativity, mathematics, and engineering.
In order to enable all children to experience the joy of LEGO® Bricks & Minifigs is pleased to announce our new Home Schooling Curriculum!!! For the school year 2020-2021 we will be offering three different programs: Stop Motion Animation, LEGO® Robotics, and Engineering!
Classes will begin Aug 18th and run until the first week of June! Each program will meet from 10:00 -11:30 am once a week during the 9 month school period. Courses are designed primarily for age groups withing 3rd to 6th grade, but please contact us with any questions about whether or not your child will be able to participate if they do not fit into this age category. The base price per course is $400 but there are discounts for enrolling in more than one course per school year or for enrolling multiple children in our courses. We also offer payment plan options. LEGO Stop Motion Animation
Join us each Tuesday throughout the school year from 10:00-11:30 am for a hands-on stop motion class where you will learn techniques for telling stories and bringing your LEGO® play to life! Each week has a new lesson and plenty of time to practice, practice, practice!
When: Tuesdays between Aug 18th – June 1st from 11 – 12:30 p.m

Cost: The price of this course includes our Stop Motion Animation Starter Kit: an animation booklet, blue tooth remote, bulk LEGO® pieces, minifigures, and sticky tack. LEGO Robotoics

Cost: The price of this course includes our LEGO® Robotics Curriculum as well as access to trained and experienced teachers. This course is based upon the current robotics model and as such requires a “Mindstorm” kit. Engineering
Join us each Thursday throughout the school year from 11:00-12:30 p.m for a hands-on engineering experience! During our course students will learn the basics of physics and engineering as we explore the ever expanding world of technology! Each week will include several hands on experiments as well as progressive projects that will enhance your child’s problem solving and motor skills!
When: Thursdays between Aug 18th – June 3rd from 11 – 12:30 p.m

Cost: The price of this course includes access to unique LEGO® technic pieces as well as specific curriculum designed to provide opportunities for participants to engage in building exercises.
