The following General Sweepstakes and Giveaway Official Rules apply to all sweepstakes, drawings, promotions and giveaways (collectively, the “Sweepstakes”) conducted by Bricks and Minifigs Ogden. Individual Sweepstakes may contain additional or different terms. In the event of a conflict between these General Rules and the rules posted for a specific Sweepstakes, the rules for the specific Sweepstakes will control.

1. Sponsor

All Sweepstakes are sponsored by Bricks and Minifigs Ogden, located at 4074 Riverdale Road, Ogden, Utah 84403.

2. Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated in the rules for a specific Sweepstakes, the Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of Utah who are eighteen years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, owners, officers and agents of the Sponsor are not eligible to enter or win. Immediate family members and household members of such employees, owners, officers and agents are eligible to enter and win, provided they meet all other eligibility requirements. Family members and household members will not receive additional entries or enhanced odds based on their relationship to an employee.

3. Sweepstakes Period

Each Sweepstakes will begin and end on the dates and times identified in the rules or announcement for that specific Sweepstakes. Entries received before the start time or after the end time are void.

4. How to Enter

Entry methods for each Sweepstakes will be described in the rules for that specific Sweepstakes. The Sponsor provides two methods of entry for every Sweepstakes, and both methods are available for all participants.

A. Purchase Based Entry (Optional)

For Sweepstakes that permit purchase based entries, each qualifying retail transaction in the amount specified in the individual Sweepstakes rules may result in one entry. Entrants may earn multiple entries through multiple qualifying purchases. A purchase does not improve the odds of any individual entry.

B. Free Entry by Mail (Alternate Method of Entry)

Every Sweepstakes permits free mail entries. To enter any Sweepstakes without making a purchase, an individual may mail a handwritten postcard containing the information required by the individual Sweepstakes rules to:

Unless otherwise stated in the rules for a specific Sweepstakes, only one postcard entry per person is permitted. Additional postcard entries may be voided at Sponsor’s discretion.

Automatic Loyalty Enrollment for Free Entry Participants

For Sweepstakes that include free mail entry, free entry participants may be automatically added to Sponsor’s Loyalty Rewards Program. Participation in the Loyalty Rewards Program is optional. Entrants may opt out at any time. Opting out will not invalidate any entry or affect the entrant’s odds of winning.

Entry Treatment

All entries, whether purchase based or free, are treated equally for purposes of winner selection.

5. Prize

The prize or prizes for each Sweepstakes will be described in the rules or promotional materials for that specific Sweepstakes. Prizes are not transferable and may not be substituted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

6. Winner Selection

Unless otherwise stated, the potential winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification and Verification

The potential winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of entry. The potential winner must respond within the timeframe stated in the individual Sweepstakes rules. If the potential winner does not respond, is found to be ineligible or declines the prize, an alternate winner may be selected.

The Sponsor may require the potential winner to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release as a condition of receiving the prize.

8. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify any Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, illegible, misdirected or postage due mail entries. Sponsor’s decisions regarding all Sweepstakes matters are final.

9. Privacy

Information collected from entrants will be used for administration of the Sweepstakes and for operation of the Loyalty Rewards Program where applicable. Entrants may opt out of the Loyalty Rewards Program at any time. Sponsor will not sell or disclose personal information except as required by law or as necessary to administer the Sweepstakes.

10. Release

By entering a Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its owners, employees, officers and representatives from any liability arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize.

11. Winner List

To request the name of a winner from any Sweepstakes, send a self addressed stamped envelope to:

Requests must be received within sixty days after the end of the applicable Sweepstakes.

12. Governing Law

All Sweepstakes and these General Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

13. Reservation of Rights

Sponsor may modify these General Rules at any time without notice. Updated rules will be posted on Sponsor’s website and will apply to all Sweepstakes conducted after the date of posting.
