Space Building Competition
Official Rules

1. Entry and Participation:

  • The competition is open to individuals of all ages. Participants under 18 must have parent/guardian permission.
  • Bricks & Minifigs employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  • Each participant must pay a $15 non-refundable entry fee.
  • Participant must build something to do with space (Spaceship, alien, astronaut, etc)
  • Creations can be of any design but must fit within the specified 6″ x 6″ entry box.
  • A photo of your creation will be taken for evaluation by the judges.
  • The competition is at the Bricks & Minifigs Colorado Springs North location only.

2. Submission:

  • Each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form with the participant’s name, email, and phone number.
  • The competition will run from Monday, May 26 through Saturday May 31, 2025
  • Participants must submit their creation by 7 p.m. May 31, 2025
  • All entries become the property of the participant after the competition.

3. Judging and Criteria:

  • Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, and creative application of prompt
  • The decision of the judges is final.

4. Prizes:

  • Prizes:
    • 1st Place: $50 Bricks & Minifigs Colorado Springs North gift certificate.
    • 2nd Place: $25 Bricks & Minifigs Colorado Springs North gift certificate.
    • 3rd Place: $10 Bricks & Minifigs Colorado Springs North gift certificate.
  • Winners will be announced on social media and notified by phone or email the week of June 3, 2025.
  • You do not need to be present to win.

5. Photo Release:

  • Participants grant Bricks & Minifigs Colorado Springs North the right to photograph entries and use these photos for promotional purposes.

6. General Conditions:

  • Bricks & Minifigs Colorado Springs North reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the competition if any problem prevents the competition from being conducted as planned.
  • By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the organizers from any injury, loss, or damage caused by participation in the competition.
  • This competition is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

7. Data Privacy:

  • Personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of this competition and not disclosed to any third parties.
