How to Sell & Trade:
Bring your LEGO® product to the store’s Sell & Trade counter. We will evaluate what you have and based on several factors, including condition, cleanliness, how complete, demand and quantity, we can then make you an offer. You can then sell us what you brought and feel good knowing that you have passed your love of LEGO® on to a new generation – and got paid to do it with either cash or in-store credit.
Sell Used LEGO® Sets
We will buy pre-owned sets in any condition! Although we accept any genuine LEGO®, you can get the most for your trade if your sets are built, complete, clean, and include their minifigures and instructions.
New-in-Box Retired Sets
We’ll buy your New-In-Box sets as long as they are retired. We cannot purchase sealed sets that are still for sale by LEGO® (can’t be currently for sale on the LEGO® website).
We’ll Buy Your Minifigs
Even if you don’t have a matching set to go with them, we’ll buy any genuine LEGO® brand minifigures! Get the most of your minifig trade-in if they’re in good condition with their accessories and have no scratches or cracking.
Bring in Your Bulk
We’ll buy your loose LEGO® pieces even if the sets are not built! You’ll still get the most for your trade if they’re clean and don’t come with other toys or non-LEGO® brand building blocks.

Q: Do I need an appointment to trade?
A: You do not need an appointment to trade! Bring in your LEGO® sets and pieces and we can help anytime we are open!
Q: How do you decide how much to offer?
A: We take a number of factors into consideration when determining how much we can offer for your trade. We typically offer a bit more for in-store credit than cash, since we want to you buy more LEGO® from us! We also take into consideration the condition of the trade, the type of set and/or piece, and the amount of products you are trading in. We encourage you to come prepared with a number in mind for how much you’d like to accept! This helps us align more easily on what we can offer for your trade.
Q: Can I email you and get an offer or estimate for my collection before I bring it in?
A: Sadly, no. You must bring items in-store and we must have the LEGO® in-hand in order to evaluate it. You are welcome to email us (idahofalls.id@bricksandminifigs.com) and discuss your trade, but we will not be making official or unofficial offers via email.
Q: What condition LEGO® do you accept?
A: The short answer is ANY! The long answer is that we take everything from retired new-in-box to tubs of bulk bricks, with used sets and partial sets and everything in-between. However, they must be clean. Used sets must be built and have all of their minifigures if you want our best offer for an individual set.
Q: How do I prepare my collection for trade?
A: Please try to dust, gather instructions, bring original boxes and any other items that would make your sets more complete. The more complete they are, the more we pay. Extremely dirty, dusty, and/or glued bricks will be turned away.
Q: Do you do a one-for-one Minifigure trade?
A: Sadly, no. But if younger traders want to come in with their parents/guardians, we try to make it a fun experience!
Q: I have an idea about how much I want for my trade. How close do you come to other online websites that offer used LEGO®?
A: We try our best to come close to the offer you are hoping to get for your LEGO®. However, it’s uncommon for us to offer the same or more than you see online. If you’d like to discuss this in more detail, feel free to give us a call or come into the store and we can talk through your expectations vs. what we can offer and why!
