Build your vision of the future using LEGO® bricks!

Kids! Put on your construction helmet, because it’s time to build! With LEGO® bricks, of course. Bricks & Minifigs is sponsoring a build competition at the The Lane County Fair this year. There are four age brackets, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes for each! And your creation will be on display at the fair! For more information visit atthefair.com. The deadline to register is July 2, so start building, and we’ll see you at the fair!

Contest rules:

Must be an original creation with a max dimension of 16”x16”x16” (smaller is fine). Must use only LEGO parts. Do not use glue. Along with your build, submit a 3”x5” index card describing your creation. Creations will be judged based on adherence to the theme, originality/creativity, build quality, and description of the project.

Age groups

• 5-7 years old
• 8-10 years old
• 11-13 years old
• 14-17 years old

Prizes

• 1st – $25 gift card to Bricks & Minifigs
• 2nd -$15 gift card to Bricks & Minifigs
• 3rd -$10 gift card to Bricks & Minifigs

Deadlines & Important Information

Entry Deadline:
July 2, 2019

Entry Drop Off:
Drop off your entry at the Lane County Convention Center on July 14 (11am-5pm) OR on July 15 (3- 7pm). If you are unable to bring your entry on entry drop off day, please make arrangements to have someone bring it for you. We are unable to accept entries after the entry drop off date.

Entry Pick Up:
All Entries are to be picked up at the Lane County Convention Center July 29 (12-6pm). Any entries left after 6pm will be forfeited. Exhibit shall not be released until the time and date specified. You must present the claim check (if given one). Any exhibitor who removes his/her exhibit before the release date and time without permission will forfeit all awards including premiums and will not be allowed to exhibit in the next year’s Lane County Fair. Forms are available at the Lane County Fair Office if you need to make arrangements for someone else to pick-up your entry and award.
