Kids! Put on your construction helmet, because it’s time to build! Bricks & Minifigs is sponsoring a LEGO® build competition at the The Lane County Fair this year. There are four age brackets, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes for each! And your creation will be on display at the fair! The deadline to submit is July 6, so start building, good luck, and we’ll see you at the fair! Be sure to read below for important information and dates.

Theme: Build your vision of the future using LEGO® bricks! Must be an original creation with a maximum dimension of 16” x 16” x 16” (smaller is fine). Must use only LEGO parts. Do not use glue. Along with your build, submit a 3” x 6” index card describing your creation. Creations will be judged on adherence to the theme, originality, creativity, build quality, and description of the project.

• 1st – $25 gift card to Bricks & Minifigs Eugene
• 2nd – $15 gift card to Bricks & Minifigs Eugene
• 3rd – $10 gift card to Bricks & Minifigs Eugene

• Youth, 5-7 yrs old
• Youth, 8-10 yrs old
• Youth, 11-13 yrs old
• Youth, 14-17 yrs old

Registration: The deadline to register your build (atthefair.com) is Tuesday, July 6, 2021. During registration please select department “Q – Art – Open Show” then “Special Contest – LEGO Brick Contest.” After you register, you may drop off your creation at the fairgrounds on July 11 (11am to 5pm) or July 12 (3pm to 7pm). Your creation will be on display at the fair July 21-25. After the fair please pick up your creation on July 26 (11am to 6pm).
