Join us for the country’s largest brick convention, Brickworld Chicago. This event always takes place over Father’s Day weekend, but many people don’t realize that it lasts for 5 days! But you may be wondering… what makes Brickworld Chicago one of the best brick conventions in the world…
- Nearly 100,000 square feet of space, filled with thousands of MOCs (My Own Creations) built by people from over 40 countries
- 40+ vendors selling LEGO® sets, minifigures, bulk brick, compatible parts, custom pieces, artwork, and many other brick-related items
- The only brick-themed comedy show, performed by alum of Chicago area comedy clubs and schools
- Live concert performed for attendees by The Fold – The Chicago area band responsible for the majority of music from the hit ‘Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu’ franchise
- Dozens of independent seminars, classes, and activities throughout the week
- Stop-Motion theater running most of the week
- The annual garage sale – where attendees can sell to other attendees in a safe and organized manner.
- Various amounts of former contestants from FOX TV’s hit show, ‘LEGO Masters’ to meet and hang out with
- Tons of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube influencers to meet
- The occasional celebrity hiding amongst the fans (some including NHL and NBA players, along with local TV celebs from Chicago-based programs)
- Awesome LEGO auctions, both live and silent versions available
- Awards! Did we mention Awards yet? If you are an attendee that is displaying your own work, you’re automatically eligible to win one of numerous awards for your build. The nominees are chosen by a committee, then voted on by all the attendees.
- Prizes and Giveaways! All throughout the week, you can win giveaways for simply showing up; or win a prize or 2 from joining one of the many competitions available all week long.
By the way… all proceeds from auctions and other fundraisers go to help Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago along with Make-A-Wish of Illinois.
