We facilitate this by providing excellent customer service and expert LEGO knowledge for all ages and abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each Bricks &amp; Minifigs location is locally owned, and part of a nationwide franchise, headquartered in Orem, UT. We are a buy, sell trade store that encourages customers to reuse, rebuild and reimagine with LEGO elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Store Associate High Level Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create an atmosphere that balances a casual\/friendly feel with professionalism.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help customers, aged child to adult, learn their way around the store and develop an understanding of how the Bricks &amp; Minifigs experience is unique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure the environment is safe and welcoming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The practicalities of what most of your day will entail:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Building and repairing used sets;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sorting and cleaning bulk LEGO;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizing and stocking minifigures and sets (new and used);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Greeting customers when they enter the store;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helping customers at checkout;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleaning restrooms;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitating party events;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scheduling events;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And lots of standing with quite a bit of lifting heavy containers upwards of 50 pounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Creative Stuff<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Developing workshop, camp and party ideas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing custom minifigures for sale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coming up with contest ideas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decorating with LEGO for holidays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating fliers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning to buy pre-owned LEGO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A background in customer service whether retail, camp counselor, etc. A demonstration that you know how to work and relate well with people<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of the LEGO ecosystem from past to present<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intermediate LEGO building skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A strong desire to learn what needs to be done to successfully operate a small local business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An ability to work on weekends and in accordance with posted store hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Compensation and shifts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This position starts around 10-30 hours per week with wages generally starting from $12 &#8211; 13\/hr DOE.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The shifts run through all the days open (including specified Holidays.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fill out this application form: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/nkM2sQ8nRZh4eknq9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/nkM2sQ8nRZh4eknq9<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then send a resume via email to Josh Brereton, store owner, at taylorsville.ut@bricksandminifigs.com<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bricks &amp; Minifigs\u00a0Taylorsville Store Vision Bricks &amp; Minifigs is first and foremost a fun place for people of all ages to enjoy and explore their passion for LEGO.
