Kurt’s love for Lego began in childhood,\u00a0building classic castle and space themed sets during the 80’s.\u00a0 After moving to Gainesville in 2000, he went on to start a family and to obtain his RN degree at Santa Fe College. His Lego passion was rekindled after buying his 2 sons a bin of used lego on Craigslist. Since then Kurt’s Lego love has grown by leaps and bounds, leading him to something previously unimagined, bringing a Bricks and MInifigs to the Gainesville community. Equal to his passion for Lego is his passion for his career\u00a0at Shands Childrens Hospital where he works as the Pediatric Nurse Specialist for Burns, Tracheostomies, and Gastrostomies(hence the profile pic). There he enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for Lego with his patients, their families, and his co-workers.<\/div>\n
