This focuses on <em>how<\/em> the model is built rather than the overall design.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Most \u201csci\u2011fi\u201d looking<\/strong> \u2014 Celebrates the build that best captures futuristic, technological, or otherworldly aesthetics. Think advanced machinery, alien architecture, sleek starships, robotics, or imaginative tech.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Best use of traditional LEGO parts<\/strong> \u2014 Recognizes the build that makes the most impressive use of classic, common, or iconic LEGO elements\u2014showing creativity without relying heavily on hyper\u2011specialized or rare pieces.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Voters&#8217; choice award<\/strong> \u2014 The overall favorite. No replicas, instruction\u2011based builds, or creations made by another person.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CCBS Requirement<\/strong> \u2014 Each submission must consist of <strong>at least 60% Character and Creature Building System (CCBS)<\/strong> elements.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Entry Period<\/strong> \u2014 Entries will be accepted <strong>from Friday, May 15th through Friday, June 12th<\/strong>. Submissions received outside this window will not be considered.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organizers Definition<\/strong> \u2014 For the purposes of this contest, <strong>Bricks &amp; Minifigs\u00ae Fort Wayne<\/strong> shall be referred to as the <strong>Organizers<\/strong>. All references to \u201cOrganizer\u201d or \u201cOrganizers\u201d in these Terms &amp; Conditions refer specifically to Bricks &amp; Minifigs\u00ae Fort Wayne.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Submission Guidelines<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>One Entry Per Person<\/strong> \u2014 Participants may submit only one creation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Photo Requirements<\/strong> \u2014 Entries must include clear photos showing the build from multiple angles. Blurry or incomplete submissions may be disqualified.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Appropriate Content<\/strong> \u2014 Builds must be family\u2011friendly and free of inappropriate, violent, or offensive themes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Voting Process<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Voting Period<\/strong> \u2014 Voting begins <strong>Monday, June 15th<\/strong> and runs through <strong>Tuesday, June 30th<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Customer Voting<\/strong> \u2014 Voting is conducted by customers visiting the store during the voting period.<\/li>\n<li><strong>One Vote Per Category<\/strong> \u2014 Each voter may select <strong>one build per category<\/strong>. A voter <strong>may select the same build in multiple categories<\/strong> if they believe it fits those categories.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category Winners<\/strong> \u2014 The build with the <strong>most votes<\/strong> in each category will be declared the category winner and receive the corresponding prize.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Voter Prize Eligibility<\/strong> \u2014 Voters who selected the winning build in a category are entered into a drawing for an additional prize.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Voters\u2019 Choice Award<\/strong> \u2014 In addition to category voting, each voter may select <strong>one overall favorite build<\/strong> for the <strong>Voters\u2019 Choice Award<\/strong>. This vote is <strong>independent<\/strong> of category selections, and <strong>all submissions are eligible<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Winner Announcement<\/strong> \u2014 All winners (category winners, Voters\u2019 Choice winner, and voter\u2011draw winners) will be announced <strong>Friday, July 3rd<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Judging &amp; Prizes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Judging Criteria<\/strong> \u2014 Judging is based entirely on <strong>voter interpretation of how faithfully each build represents its assigned category<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Category Winner Selection<\/strong> \u2014 The winner in each category is the build that receives the <strong>most customer votes<\/strong>, regardless of whether voters selected the same build in multiple categories.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Voters\u2019 Choice Award<\/strong> \u2014 A separate <strong>Voters\u2019 Choice Award<\/strong> will be given to the submission that receives the most votes as the overall favorite. <strong>Any submission is eligible<\/strong>, regardless of category. This is the <strong>only way<\/strong> a build may win <strong>two awards<\/strong> (a category award <em>and<\/em> the Voters\u2019 Choice Award).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prize Conditions<\/strong> \u2014 Category winners and the Voters\u2019 Choice winner receive the designated prizes for their respective awards. Prizes are non\u2011transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Winner Photography Consent<\/strong> \u2014 By entering, participants agree that <strong>if their build is selected as a winner<\/strong>, they consent to being <strong>photographed with their build, a team member, and their prize<\/strong> by the Organizers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Rights &amp; Usage<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Photo Usage Rights<\/strong> \u2014 By entering, participants grant the Organizers permission to use submitted photos in promotional materials, social media posts, and future contest advertising.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Video Usage Rights<\/strong> \u2014 By entering, participants also grant the Organizers permission to <strong>record video<\/strong> during the event and to use that footage in promotional materials, social media posts, and future contest advertising.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ownership<\/strong> \u2014 Participants retain ownership of their physical builds.
